LBS International Case Competition

Annual Case Competition organized by LBS Consulting Club in collaboration with Strategy& Middle East. The event brings together participants from top business schools worldwide with the opportunity to win total cash prizes worth £8,000.

The competition will be held in two rounds, with the first round being virtual and the final round at the London Business School campus in London. See below for the timeline of the competition.

FAQs

How do I participate in the event?

Form a team of four students to enroll for the competition. 

 

Who is eligible to participate?

First-year MBA students in The US and Europe only from business schools invited to the competition.

 

What are the requirements for the first-round submission?

The first-round submission guidelines and the evaluation criteria will be presented during the kick-off call on Sept 12. Ensure that the team has at most one member with prior consulting experience.

 

What expenses are covered by the organisers?

The organisers cover accommodation for the final round participants, including the pre-competition dinner and the networking lunch after the event with Strategy& Middle East. Travel costs to and from from London are not covered. Additional information on logistics will be communicated at a later stage.

 

Do I need to be present in person for the final round event?

The final round of presentations will be at the London Business School, Sussex Campus in London. Only the teams selected for the final round will need to be present in London to deliver their presentations and use the opportunity to network with the jury from Strategy& Middle East and members from other participating teams. A hybrid format will be considered if multiple teams cannot visit the campus.

 

What is the prize money?

The winning team will win a prize of £5000, and the runner-ups will receive a prize of £3000.
